Atletico Bilbao duo of Neco and Inaki Williams have landed in Ghana for holidays after hectic season in Spain.
The William brothers arrived in Ghana on Tuesday from Spain to spend quality time with their families and friends.
Inaki Williams and his younger brother have been a target for Ghana as they country seek to strengthen squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
According to reports, the two will schedule a meeting with officials of the Ghana Football Association to talk about a possible nationality switch.
At first, Inaki Williams was reluctant to switch nationality and play for Ghana but after the country’s World Cup qualification and the difficulties in earning a call-up to the Spanish national team, he has finally decided to hold talks with the Ghana FA in order to conclude his switch.
One of the brothers is expected to complete the switch after the meeting with officials of the Ghana Football Association.
Ghana has already secured the services of Brighton and Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey and on the verge of convincing Mohammed Salisu of Southampton.
It is believed that the Ghana FA will be holding talks with Chelsea FC winger Callum Hudson-Odoi and Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah for a possible nationality switch before the World Cup in November this year.
