Ghanaian international and Black Stars striker Iñaki Williams captained, got a yellow card, and played 90 minutes for Athletic club in their hard-fought 1-0 home win over Las Palmas in the Spanish La Liga round 18.
Williams was excellent and tormented the Las Palmas defense with his runs and direct runs when he changed positions with his younger brother on the wings. He was rated 7.2.
Wiliams will be eyeing his first AFCON assignment with the national team in Ivory Coast next year. With his form and fitness, he will be a vital figure in the Black Stars squad.
Athletic club are currently 5th on the league table with 35 points after 18 matches
