The Ghana Division One League has seen a significant improvement since the GFA president was elected to steer the affairs of Ghana Football.
Before his tenure, the prize money of the Division One League was very appalling since the money is too small for the clubs. This resulted in clubs collapsing as they couldn’t pay players well. Some of the clubs too spend more than what they receive from the GFA.
Through Kurt’s administration, those chronic problems have been solved and this have seen new teams qualifying for the Premier league as it was only the traditional teams that get promoted. The increment of the prize money has seen a stronger competition in the Division One League as they go tie to toe with orthodox or traditional teams.
Below are the increment of prize money that has propelled Division One clubs.
