The Ghanaian midfielder has been inactive for the Indonesian side after putting pen to paper for the club.
However, the President and Director for the club, Glenn Sugita thanked the Ghanaian midfielder for his service to club and believes the players in the team would take a clue from his loyal and cheerful behavior.
”We both appreciate the regulations that have been made PT Indonesia New League and Essien also very understanding,” he said.
“The point is, we parted well,” said Glenn. “It’s not just Essien’s understanding of ending this partnership, more than that, we, especially me, are very grateful for his services so far,” Glenn added.
Meanwhile, the Chelsea legend has been on ambassadorial activities for his former club and recently played in the Ray Wilkins Memorial game against Inter Milan’s legends.
Micheal Essien is reportedly to have been on the wanted list of some Singaporean clubs after visiting the country in last month.
