Premier League side, Inter Allies have maintained their blistering home form in the Ghana Premier League by dispatching Ebusua Dwarfs 2-0 at the Tema Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Kenichi Yatshuashi after the game pointed out that the team could have scored more than two goals if the players had taken their chances.
The former Hearts of Oak trainer explained that the team has struggled to score goals despite the number of chances they create both at home and on the road.
“We had so many chances that we should have converted so it’s more of how we were not able to score more than two goals”
“I think it is partly due to luck. It’s been the same pattern home and away, we created a lot of chances and today we were able to score two when we should have converted more.
“In our away matches, we also had a lot of chances to score but we couldn’t convert”.
Kenichi attributed results in away games in part to the strength of the opponents the team has played, and said they were able to capitalize on the team’s mistakes.
“I think in our away matches, we played against some strong opponents like Kotoko, Aduana and Ashantigold. They are very good enough to capitalize on our mistakes”
The Capelli Boys next travel to Dawu on Wednesday for the Week 11 fixture against Dreams FC.
