Raymond French has broken Felix Akumaning’s record in the 200 meters race to set a new one.
The 18th edition of the Sekondi /Takoradi inter schools and colleges competition which commenced yesterday, March 15, 2018 has seen excitement and records being broken in some of the events including the 200 meters record.
Takoradi Technical Institute’s Raymond French has set new 200 meters record with 21.31 sec with 0.59 seconds better than initial record set by same aforesaid second cycle school athlete Felix Akumaning.
Felix’s record with 21.72 was set in 2016 but junior mate French grabs the bragging right this time in the athletics competition.
Raymond French remains the fans favorite in the competition, hoping to clinch an accolade for his school at the final heat.
