Ghanaians can look forward to a number of statutory public holidays that will honor important occasions and cultural celebrations as the country enters the auspicious year 2024.
The Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery, has released the official list of public holidays for the year, giving the populace dates to commemorate and consider the history of the country.
Holidays commemorating significant historical occurrences are among the most looked forward to, since they enable people to consider the history of their country and the sacrifices made by those who came before them. Religious festivals also offer opportunities for spiritual observance and meditation, adding to Ghana’s rich cultural diversity.

Since Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha are movable feasts, there are no set dates for them. The Office of the Chief Imam provides the dates for the observation each year,” the ministry
