[ads1]Honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah, the Youth and Sports Minister, has over the weekend cut sod for the construction of a FIFA standard football pitch for the Kwanfifi Community in the Atwima Mponua Constituency.
The natural-grass football pitch to be construed at Kwanfifi in the constituency is to serve as a bleeding ground for hunting of talented footballers in the constituency and the Ashanti Region.
Speaking at a short ceremony, Honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah who double as the member of Parliament for the constituency, believes the pitch, when completed will produce talented footballers who will go a long way to become national team assets.
“The pitch when completed will make talent hunting more easier and I know definitely great football Stars will emerge from this constituency through this pitch. I know world Stars will emerge from this pitch”, he said.
This forms part of his campaign tour to three of the communities in the constituency namely Kwanfifi, Nyinasu and Adiembra over the weekend.
When the pitch is completed, the people of Atwima Mponua will boast of a FIFA standard pitch and an ultramodern multipurpose sports complex is which located at Nyinahyin and it’s almost done.
