In-form Ghanaian international Isaac Honny is hoping that his blistering form in the just ended Thai league 2 will propel him to get Black Stars invitation.
The former Black Meteors goal poacher was instrumental for his side Angthong FC in the Thai league 2, bagging in 17 goals with 4 assist.
Speaking to Kwame Yeboah on Silver Power Sports on Radio Silver, Honny stated emphatically that he is ready to showcase his ability when head coach Kwesi Appiah invites him to the Black Stars.
“I’m ready to showcase my ability if coach Kwesi Appiah gives me a call up to Black Stars”, he said.

Asked whether where he is plying his trade currently is the reason why he has not been giving an invitation to the Black Stars, Honney said that “it doesn’t matter where am playing now but football in Thailand is very competitive and am ready to don the Black Stars jersey”
Angthong FC have been relegated to the Thai league 3 after languishing at the bottom of the league log with 24 points after 28 matches.

Isaac Honny was the second top scorer in the Thai league 2 and also the overall top scorer for Angthong FC in the just ended season.
