Born Israel Owusu Fordah in Takoradi is currently married to Mrs.Eunice Esi Fordah with one kid.
Barima Israel Owusu Fordah as popularly known in media circles attended Top Royal Preparatory School before gaining admission to Kumasi Academy Secondary School and pursued HND in Building Technology in Takoradi Polytechnic now Takoradi Technical University.
Israel further gained first degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction economics at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi.
Life in Radio Broadcasting began at Melody FM as a panel on a Sports program dubbed ‘Sports Parliament ‘ in 2007 /2008, then as a second year student in T- Poly.
He later switched camp to Kyzz FM before joining Skyy Power FM in 2012 and to Radio 360 in 2015.
During his days at Skyy Power FM , Israel teamed up with renowned broadcaster, Stephen Kwame Yeboah and Ebo Blankson popularly known as “The Lion”. The trio made the best of group during their days in Skyy Power FM.
Israel was known for his in depth in Sports history and analysis which attracted the then management of Radio 360 to chased for his signature.
Radio 360 was blistering for the renowned broadcaster, as he teamed up with the late Aminu Zylla and stunning analyst, Kyei Baffour. The crew was the talk of town then.
Currently Israel Fordah remains freelancer broadcast Journalist, hoping of a return sooner
