In the English Championship on Monday night, Ghana’s Issahaku provided two assists as Leicester City defeated Birmingham City 3-2.
In the game’s tenth minute, English winger Stephy Mavididi scored the first goal for the Foxes thanks to a fantastic pass from Fatawu Issahaku.
Jordan James’ clever goal in the 14th minute gave Birmingham City a swift response, and six minutes later, the visitors took the lead again.
Issahaku, the Sporting CP loanee recorded his second assist on the 21st minute with a deft ball to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, making the score 2-1.
Stephy Mavididi increased their lead again on the after the first half by curling in a deflected shot into Birmingham City’s.
With his second goal of the game, a right-foot chip that also required a significant deflection, Wales international Jordan James gave Blues hope. However, the Foxes never managed the game to see it end 3-2 in the favour helping them increase their point advantage on the league table to three points (55) over second-place Ipswich Town who gave (52) points.
