Goalkeeper Felix Annan took to Twitter to clear the air on the brouhaha in the media regarding a purported exchanges of blows with team mate Sogne Yacouba.
The two were reported to have engaged in a fierce brawl after Asante Kotoko’s 1-1 draw with Ashantigold SC in the John Agyekum Kuffour Foundation Cup to mark the 80th birthday of the former president.
Emmanuel Gyamfi and Richard Djodi were the goal scorer for Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold SC respectively at the Baba Yara Stadium after 120 minutes.
According to reports, the two were exchanged some blows when the team bus left the stadium, but according to the shot stopper, Felix Annan, nothing of that sort happened, but it was an exchange of words for the improvement of the team.
“We never exchanged blows as reported by the media! It was just a verbally exchange of words for the improvement and way forward for our darling club to success! We are best friends and everything has be resolved!Fully Focused on the task ahead in Cameroon ๐จ๐ฒ#OneTeam#๐๐ฟโค๏ธ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐โฝ๏ธ๐งค https://t.co/vldiWWUDoC
