The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 elections, John Mahama will be embarking on a tour to the Western Region on Thursday, October 14, 2021.
The one-day tour dubbed “Thank You Tour” is to express his gratitude to Ghanaians for the overwhelming votes during the last year polls.[ads2]
The tour has been scheduled in phases of which the first and second phases have been successfully completed.
The third phase of the tour commenced today and it will take him through Eastern, Western, Central, Volta and Oti regions.
The former President will as part of the one-day thank you tour to the Western region, visit the Traditional Authorities, the clergy, the Islamic Leaders, and party faithfuls.[ads3]
He will address the general public through a radio interview which will be broadcasted across the region through different media platforms.
The main program is scheduled to take place in the Prestea Hunivalley Constituency on Thursday 14th October 2021.[ads4]
Below is the itinerary for the tour
– 9am- 10am
Radio Interview at Trinity Radio in Bogoso
– Thirty minutes drive to Prestea town
– 10:30am- 11:15am
Courtesy call on Heman Chief and Other Chiefs
– 11:25am- 12:25pm
Meeting with the Muslim Leaders at Prestea.
– 12:35pm- 1:35pm
Meeting with the Christians leaders at Prestea
– 1:45pm-3:45pm
Time with the Party Faithfuls at Prestea before leaving for Central Region on the same day.[ads5]
