Songne Yacouba’s Manager, Mr. Jesse Jantuah has explained that, the deadly poacher has never decided to terminate his contract with the Porcupine Warriors.
It was reported in the media that, the former Stade Malian forward is pressuring the management of the Reds for a contract termination even though he has another year on his contract to serve.
According to Mr. Jesse Jantuah, the 27- year old has never plan to terminate his contract but rather only an injury or a good deal outside the shores of the country can keep the player away from Asante Kotoko.
“It’s not true Sogne Yacouba has decided to terminate his contract. The only thing that can keep him away from Kotoko is either an injury or a good deal that both Kotoko and our camp will be satisfied with”, he told Oyerepa FM.
“Let’s not forget that, he’s a married man now with a lot of responsibilities, he has parents back in Burkina Faso who also look up to him and age is not on his side as well.
Meanwhile, Zesco United have opened negotiations with the management of the Kumasi based side for the services of the Burkinabe import and report says clubs like Al Hilal Omdurman, Nkana FC etc have all shown interest.
