The families of the kids of members of NK Foundation at Kweikuma, a suburb of Sekondi received Covid-19 relief support.
The donation exercise was on Monday, June 1, 2020, items donated included; Liquid Soap, hand sanitizers, tissue papers, gloves, cooking oil and bags of rice aided by ITTF Foundation.
Ishmael Abraham Armah, vice president of the project “smash Covid-19 away” and CEO of the NK Foundation let the donation exercise.
This donation is a continuation of ITTF Foundation covid responds to the community NK Foundation operate.
In his remarks, Ishmael Abraham Armah outlined the hardships covid-19 has brought to the country which has affected all sporting activities including Table Tennis as the reason for the donation. International Table Tennis Federation Foundation presented these items to help ease the difficulties this pandemic has brought to the families.
He praised the parents of the kids for supporting the introduction of Table Tennis in the school program.
Finally he pleaded with the parents to ensure that their wards are practicing all protocols and measures laid down by the Ghana Health Service to control the spread of the coronavirus.
Mr. Micheal Ainoo, a dispensing assistant officer at Holy Child Catholic Hospital at Fijai educated the gathering on Covid-19 and discussed with the parents of the kids the best ways to keep safe.

The Assembly man of Kweikuma community Hon. Bukari Kyere thanked the parents and ITTF Foundation for their generous support giving to them during this hardship.
He said this gesture will augment the initiatives taking to control the spread of the coronavirus.
Again he thanked the CEO of NK Foundation and pledged to support all initiatives through ITTF Foundation in the community.
Finally he appealed to other organisations to continue to support the good works of NK Foundation by providing table tennis equipment for the rest of the schools in the community.
President of Ghana Table Tennis Association, Mawuko Afadzinu was grateful to the International Table Tennis Federation for their kind gesture.
NK Foundation is a Table Tennis NGO based in Takoradi under the leadership of Ishmael Abraham Armah.
