Ghana midfielder James Agyekum Kotei provided an assist in Simba Sporting Club narrow win over stubborn side Tanzania Prisons.
The 25-year old who lasted the full throttle was exceptional in the encounter and was the reason why Simba SC walked away as 1:0 winners at the Sokoine Stadium on Sunday.
Kotei ended the game as the unsung hero as he created the only opportunity for Emmanuel Okwi to find the net in the wary encounter.
His assist still keeps the Msimbadzi Reds in the race of defending the league title this season as they currently sit second with 78 points, just two points away from league leaders Young Africans.
Meanwhile, his compatriots Nicholas Gyan was an unused sub whiles Akwasi Asante is still at the treatment room nursing an injury.
