Ghanaian midfielder James Kotei earned his first start at Kaizer Chiefs as they were beaten by Bloemfontein Celtic in the Macufe Cup on Sunday.

The midfield dynamo lasted the full throttle in the cagey match and proved why coach Ernst Middendorp should hand him regular playing time.
Thato Lingwati registered the opener for Celtic in the 41st minute of the game before Tumiso Mogakwe doubled the lead in the 75th minute.

Kaizer Chiefs showed enough eagerness to at least get a consolation but all to no avail.
Even though Kaizer Chiefs lost to Bloemfontein Celtic at the Free State Stadium, the former Simba SC midfielder was a delight to watch.
