Ghana international James Kotei stared in Simba Sporting Club 3:1 victory over arch rivals Azam FC at the National Sports Stadium today.
The Msimbadzi Reds whipped their noisy rivals Azam FC 3:1 in match-day twenty-eight which is seventeen for the defending champions in the Tanzanian Premier League.
Meddie Kagere’s 5th and 78th minutes brace as well as John Bocco’s 39th minutes goal was enough as they run away 3:1 winners with Frank Domayo getting a consolation in the 81st minutes for Azam Football Club.
Kotei lasted the entire minutes with dazzling performance, marshalling the midfield for the Mailands Champions throughout the ninetienth minutes.
The victory means Simba are 3rd on the league log with 42 points just 8 points away from Azam FC who are sitting second.
