20-year-old Jareel Quansah returned to pre-season training with Liverpool last Saturday. The young central defender was captain of The Reds’ U18 side that reached the 2021 FA Youth Cup final. He spent the second half of last season impressing on loan at League One side Bristol Rovers
His performance on loan in the South West led to Quansah signing an extended contract with The Reds in May. He was given the chance to impress Jurgen from day one of pre-season to get a chance on the first team in the coming season.
