Jean Mensa has not travelled abroad

Electoral Commission has debunked media reportage that its chairperson Jean Mensa has travelled outside the country after the declaration of the presidential election.

Reports were circulating in the media that, Jean Mensa and her two deputies have travelled abroad after announcing the results of the 2020 December polls.[ads2]

According to the reports, this was to run away from those who were unhappy about the results of the general elections held on December 7, 2020.

But the Electoral Commission has rebuffed the reportage, stressing that Madam Jean Mensa and her two deputies are at post, performing their duties as mandated.[ads3]

The Electoral Commission has urged Ghanaians to treat the reportage as false.
