Ghana striker John Antwi Duku bagged brace in his CAF Confederation Cup debut for Egyptian side Pyramids FC as they thumped Etoile du Congo 4:1.
The 27-year old prolific attacker scored twice in Pyramids FC CAF Confederation Cup clash against Etoile du Congo at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo today.
Antwi had the opener for Pyramids FC as early as the 19th minute from a powerful header before Eric Traore had the double.
The former Sekondi Eleven Wise marksman once again find the net with another powerful header from Ragab Bakar inch-perfect cross in the 33rd minute.
Yan Mukumbu netted the consolation for the Congolese side but Ahmed Ali softened Pyramids FC chances of making it to the next round with a fourth goal to end the game.
The return-leg has been slated for August 24 in Brazzaville and the former Dreams FC attacker is expected to continue his fine form in the next game.
John Antwi joined the Cairo based side on a three-year deal from fellow premiership side Misr Lel-Makkasa.
