The father of Medeama Sporting Club midfielder Justice Blay, Mr. John Blay has expressed interest to assist Asante Kotoko to secure the service of his son.
Blay was top on the performance list of Asante Kotoko during his loan spell with the Porcupines.
The Central Midfielder joined Asante Kotoko from June 2019 to June 2020 and returned to the Tarkwa-based side after the season.

Medeama has priced Blay at 50,000.00 USD.
Blay joined Medeama from Sekondi Hasaacas FC and has a contract with the Mauve and Yellows till the end of the 2022 season.
Speaking on Otec FM, Mr. John Blay craved for his son to join Asante Kotoko and is ready to assist in the negotiating process.
“I’m ready to help Kotoko to negotiate with Medeama to secure the service of my son – Justice Blay’s father insists”

“I’ve supported all the teams my son has played, from Eleven Wise, Medeama, and Kotoko. So now if my son has decided to play for Kotoko, I can’t prevent him from moving to his dream team. I am hoping that Kotoko will have fruitful negotiations with Medeama’s President, Moses Parker” John Blay told Kumasi based OTEC FM
“My son’s heart is definitely with Kotoko. Since he moves to Kotoko, he has become very popular especially after scoring that goal against Hearts of Oak in Accra” He added
“Blay is my son and not Moses Parker’s son so I am ready to help Kotoko to negotiate with Medeama to secure his service. I’m ready to meet Kotoko in Tarkwa to negotiate on my son’s behalf” He Concluded.
