Former Black Stars defender John Paintsil has shared his thoughts on the football philosophy that was launched on Wednesday 13th July,by the technical directorate of the Ghana football Association
He reiterates that every football nation should have an identity and so the launch of Ghana’s Football Philosophy is a step in the right direction.
According to him, the football philosophy launch was a very educative one.

He added that ,it is not compulsory for our clubs to adopt the philosophy because it is specifically for the national team but it is however an added advantage to coaches who wish to take excerpts from it.

He said that just like every coach has an identity the national teams should have and he believes there will be a lot to learn from it.
Going ahead, Ghana Football’s coaching and playing philosophies will be based on the Ghana Football DNA, which describes our style of play, current football trends, our strengths and weaknesses, and a strategy for getting to where we want to be as a team as stated by the GFA President Kurt Okraku.
