Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah has listed his three best Black Stars players that he has ever played with.

According to the 29-year old centre-back, Stephen Appiah, Mubarak Wakaso and Asamoah Gyan are his three best Black Stars players he has ever played with.
In an interview, Jonathan Mensah indicated that, though he has played with many brilliant players in the Black Stars, the aforesaid three players are his best.

“Sorry to the other guys but I think Stephen Appiah, Mubarak Wakaso & Asamoah Gyan are my best players. I have played with them and I know what they can offer on the field of play”, Mensah told Yaw Ofosu Larbi of TV3 in an interview.
Jonathan Mensah made his Black Stars debut in May 2009 against Uganda in a friendly.

He was later included in the Black Stars squad for the 2010 AFCON but failed to make an appearance.
Jonathan Mensah was part of the Ghana U-20 team that won both the 2009 AFCON and the World Cup in Egypt where Ghana defeated Brazil in the grand finale.

He became an integral member of the Black Stars during the 2010 FIFA World Cup after Isaac Vorsah was injured, forming a formidable partnership with John Mensah.
