Black Stars winger Joseph Paintsil scored for KRC Genk on Thursday night as they drew 1-1 with Olympiacos in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers.
After the agonizing 1-1 draw in the rematch with the Greek Super League club, the Belgian team was eliminated from the qualification at home.

With a 2-1 overall aggregate, Olympiacos has thereby guaranteed advancement to the next round of the European competition. In the first leg, Genk won by a score of 1-0.
After missing an earlier penalty granted to his team, Paintsil gave KRC Genk the lead in the game’s 30th minute.
But after 65 minutes on the field, the Ghanaian international was dismissed for misconduct and received a straight red card.
In the 96th minute, Sotiris Alexandropoulos scored a dramatic goal to stun the raucous home crowd at Cegeka Arena.
Joseph Paintsil is being monitored by scouts from French Ligue 1 side Lille whiles Southampton are ready make a move for him.
