Winger Joseph Paintsil of the Ghana Black Stars was in outstanding form, as he played the full 76 minutes and scored twice for KRC Genk in their 4-0 victory over Kortrijk at home in the Belgium PRO League round 18.
Many have predicted that the winger will win a few SAWG honors this year. For the club, he has been playing well. He doesn’t, however, have a set start time when he is performing national duties. He was rated 9.0.
Paintsil scored the first and third goals of the match in the 23rd and 54th minutes. After 18 games, he had scored six goals and provided four assists.
After 18 games, they have 31 points, which puts them in the Championship Playoff Zone and fifth in the league standings. He also won the Player of the Match award.
