Ghana’s most successful club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have parted ways with six of their players.
According to report from a reliable source, Management of the club terminated the contracts of the six players after a successful meeting at the club’s Secretariat today.
According to source, the six players saw their contracts terminated due to ineffective performance.
The players include former Medeama Sporting Club forward Abass Mohammed, Frederick Boateng, Muntari Tagoe, Naby Keita, Obed Owusu and Daniel Nii Adjei.
Muntari Tagoe who joined the Porcupine Warriors as second choice goalkeeper to Felix Annan saw his contract terminated due to financial issues regarding his current wages.
Also, experienced midfielder, Jordan Opoku was initially included in the list but was spared with task to justify his stay during the Normalization Committee Special Competition.
