The Takoradi Technical University has been closed down with immediate effect due to the outbreak of deadly disease Coronavirus in Ghana.

This follows the President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo directives for all churches, schools and social gatherings to be suspended to avoid the spread of the disease.
In a statement, students of the Takoradi Technical University are urged to leave their halls of residence latest by Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

However, virtual lectures will commence on Monday, March 23, 2020.
