The Communication Director for Medeama Sporting Club, Patrick Akoto has said his outfit has registered defensive midfielder Justice Blay for the forthcoming league season.
Blay has been a long-standing transfer target for Asante Kotoko throughout this transfer window after impressing at the club on his loan spell.

Though Asante Kotoko were eager to sign the highly-rated defensive midfielder on a permanent basis, the deal halted after the two clubs failed to reached an agreement.
What prevented Asante Kotoko from signing the Black Stars “B” midfielder was the $150,000 price tag quoted by Medeama Sporting Club during the negotiations.

But it was reported that Asante Kotoko have rekindled interest in signing Justice Blay to augment their squad for the next league season.
Speaking on Takoradi-based Spice FM, Patrick Akoto stated that Justice Blay has been registered among Medeama Sporting Club squad for the 2020/21 league season.

“We have registered Justice Blay for the upcoming league season and he will play for Medeama until any club is able to meet his release clause”, Patrick Akoto said.
Meanwhile Justice Blay has a running contract with Medeama Sporting Club that will come to an end in 2022.
