The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency, Justin Kodua Frimpong has been elected the new General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He accumulated 2,837 votes to unseat the incumbent John Boadu at the NPP national delegates conference held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
Mr Boadu who was highly tipped to retain the seat pulled 2,524 with 313 votes separating him and Justin Kodua Frimpong.
The victory means Justin Kodua Frimpong will be the General Secretary of the NPP for the next four years.
