Manchester United sacked their head coach Eric Ten-Hag a week ago after a poor and disappointing run which saw Manchester United dropping to 13th on the table in the EPL.
He was quickly replaced by Sporting Lisbon’s coach Ruben Amorim and made former player Ruud Van Nistelroy an interim coach.
The later steered Manchester United to some vital wins that lifted the team both on the table and on confidence level.
Rúben Amorim held his inaugural meeting with Manchester United players at Carrington yesterday November 12, 2024.
During this gathering, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Leny Yoro, Kobbie Mainoo, and Toby Collyer were present to greet him as most of their players are on international duty.
Before and after the meeting, which happens to be his first, he took time to discuss matters with Kobby Mainoo. Possibly, the youngster would love to play under Amorim only if he will be giving more playing time.
Amorim likes given youngsters a opportunity to operate and improve, so therefore, Mainoo stand a chance to benefit from the Portuguese trainer.
Mainoo has been a revelation since his inclusion into the senior team by former coach Eric Ten Hag.
