One thing that took many by surprise during the RTC Western Music Awards nomination was when Ayesem’s Koti missed out on the Hiplife song of the year.
kyilla.com have had interactions with some of the members on the board and they have revealed the reason why the song didn’t gain nomination in that category.
According to them, the song had a line which talked about legalizing marijuana and for that matter they had to reject the song in that category.
Ayesem however gained nomination in the Artiste of the year category where he will compete with last year’s winner Kofi Kinaata and Nero X
