OilCity Radio, a newly established radio station in the Western Region have landed the signature of astute sportscaster, Samuel Kofi Larbi.
The award-winning sportscaster has reportedly joined the Kwesimintsim-based radio station as the head of sports.
The former EIB employee has reportedly completed negotiations with the management of OilCity Radio, pending his official announcement.
Kofi Larbi, otherwise known as the Extra is making a return to the Western Region after seven years of leaving Spice FM, a subsidiary of Focus 1 Media.
He is known for working with ace broadcasters like Kuntu Blankson, Oti Asirifi Mensah Joseph and host of others at Spice FM before assuming the seat as host of the station’s sports show.
Larbi is remembered by many sports loving fans in the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis for forming a fearsome partnership with Agyei Peprah Promise and Debator before their departure to Abusua FM.
