Berekum Chelsea forward, Kofi Owusu says he’s not focusing on Black Stars call-up due to the constant disregard for local players.
Owusu, 29, who won the top scorer of the Ghana Premier League in 2014/2015 season revealed he should have gotten the opportunity back then.
According to the ex-Aswan forward, few players in the Ghana Premier League get opportunity to play in the Black Stars and his attention now is not on getting Black Stars chance now but to be able to secure a deal outside the country or play for Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak.

“I’m not focusing on Black Stars call-up because they are not ready to give us the local players the chance to showcase our talents, even when I won the goalking in Ghana premier league 2014/15 they did not give the opportunity to play in the Black Stars.
“I want to ask you how many players in our league when became a goalking had the chance to play in the Black Stars and why should I focus on Black Stars now?
“My focus is to get contract outside the country or play Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the League” – Owusu revealed on Agyenkwa Total Sports
