Nana Katabra “A” Basic School located in Kojokrom, a suburb in Sekondi of the Western Region have gotten a new sanitary facility.
The 8-seater sanitary facility constructed by GNPC Foundation is to improve sanitation at the school.
For the past years, the school were using a wooden structure as their sanitary facility despite the dangers it poses.
But as part of ensuring inclusive and sustainable development of Ghanaian communities through its social impact investments, GNPC Foundation saw the need to construct a new sanitary facility for the school.

The newly constructed sanitary facility has been handed over to the leadership of the school by the Executive Director of the GNPC Foundation Dr. Dominic Eduah after the final inspection.
The newly 8 seater sanitary facility also forms part of the Foundation’s numerous project across the Western Region which include; 160 bed capacity hostel with ancillary facilities for the Sekondi Takoradi School for the deaf, a 6 unit classroom block for Sekondi College, a 6 unit classroom block for Methodist Senior High School, 12 unit toilet facility at Assakae Market, and a guest facility, administrative office, library and computer laboratory complex for the Western Regional House of Chiefs.
They have also constructed a 24 unit sanitary facility at Bompeh Senior High School and Agona Market all in the Western Region.
