Medeama Sporting Club head coach Samuel Boadu believes Kotoko are ready to compete in the 2018-19 CAF Confederation Cup.
Kotoko as part of preparations towards their Africa campaign hosted Medeama in a friendly yesterday at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
The encounter which saw both teams pressing to get the three maximum points eventually ended in a 1:1 draw.
Speaking to the media after the game, coach Boadu heaped praises of C.K Akunnor for transforming the Kotoko team and believes with massive support , Kotoko can make Ghana proud in the CAF Confederation Cup.
“C.K Akunnor is doing well and I appreciate his work. He has changed a lot in Kotoko.
” They possessed the ball much and am hundred percent sure Kotoko are ready to compete in Africa.
“They only need the support from Ghanaians and I believe they can do it “.
Meanwhile, the Kumasi based team will play Togolese giant Koroki De Tchamba in an international friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday 18th November, 2018 before facing the winner of the Cameroon FA Cup on 28th November,2018 for the CAF Confederation Cup prelims.
