Nkana FC defender Richard Ocran says meeting Kotoko is not a special match which needs special preparations even though the Porcupines are in their fine-form.
The Zambian giant will face Asante Kotoko in match-three of the CAF Confederation Cup group stages on Sunday February 24, 2019 at the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
The encounter has pushed most Asante Kotoko supporters and some section of Ghanaians to a believe of getting a victory in Zambia even though Nkana FC are yet to lose at their home grounds in African competition over a decade.
Speaking exclusively to Kyfilla.com ahead of the Kotoko clash, Ocran stated that coming up against Kotoko is not a match that requires special preparations and his outfit are ready to match Kotoko booth for booth.
” We’re ready for Kotoko on Sunday. The clash is not all that special to us and doesn’t require any special preparations”, he told Kyfilla.com.
” We’ve taken it as a normal game even though they ( Kotoko) are in their fine-form but we will match them booth for booth on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have jetted off Ghana for Ethiopia earlier this afternoon enroute to Zambia on Sunday. The team are expected to arrive in Zambia on Thursday.
Ocran on the other hand has extended his contract with the Zambian club till 2021 and he’s expected to shield the defense of the team in their clash against Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
