Former Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah says coaching Asante Kotoko is very difficult than the Ghana senior national men’s team.

According to the 59-year old, supporters of the Kotoko are very passionate with the team and expect every coach to deliver.
In an interview, the former Kotoko defender explained that, as a coach of Kotoko, the supporters are always expecting a good results and it becomes a disaster if the results are not coming.
“Coaching Kotoko is not easy, I will say it’s even difficult than the Black Stars”, he told Kasapa FM.
“The supporters of the club are very passionate and so whether you are a player or coach, they expect to live up to expectations.

” As a coach of Kotoko, you live with the supporters in the same town, find them at the training grounds everyday… So if you’re lucky and things go on well then you become the happiest man but if turns the other way, then you’ll find yourself in deep waters because the supporters will be on you always”, Appiah concluded.
Kwesi Appiah played for Kotoko as a left-back from 1983-1993.
