Ghana Premier League heavyweight, Asante Kotoko are set to terminate their kits sponsorship deal with Strike with a year left.

According to fFormerAssant Kotoko midfielder, Yusif Chibsah who played a vital role in the sponsorship deal, the management of Kotoko have written to Strike to hold a contract termination talks.
In an interview, Chibsah confirmed that the leadership of Strike have notified the Ghana Premier League giant their readiness to hold talks to abrogate the deal.

“Yes it’s true Kotoko have written to us [Strike] that they want to hold a termination talks with us, I was not available when they wrote to us but I have notified them am back and ready to meet them.
“I have no problem if they decide to terminate the contract eventhough there are clauses in the contract.

“For the love I have for the club and the contribution of the club to where I am today, I won’t take it further but allow sleeping dogs lies”, Chibsah told Oyerepa FM.
Kotoko signed a three-year deal with the Portuguese kits manufacturing company on a three-year deal in November 2018 and was fetching the club GH¢50,000 monthly among other revenues.
