The lockdown of Kumasi, Accra, Tema and Obuasi has been withdrawn with immediate effect.

The four cities were to be lockdown as government’s directives to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus disease.
The four cities have so far recorded cases of the pandemic with Accra and Kumasi recording most cases.

A statement from the Ghana Police Service states that the order to lockdown the aforesaid cities have been withdrawn with immediate effect.
