Kumasi Asante Kotoko have pocketed a sum of two hundred and forty-seven thousand ( 247,000) Ghana Cedis as net profit from Zesco United game yesterday.
Kotoko, the only Ghanaian representative in the ongoing CAF inter-club competition, on Wednesday February 13 thumped Zambian opponent Zesco United 2:1 to secure their first victory in the group stages.
The Porcupines grossed a whooping four hundred and forty-four thousand (444,000) Ghana Cedis as gate proceeds from the clash yesterday but after deductions, the club received GHC 247,000. This was made known by the Director of Communications for Asante Kotoko, Samuel Sarfo Duku (Esq).
The Kumasi based team after the sounding victory would travel to Zambia to play Nkana FC in their match three of the group stages.
