President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Kwabena Yeboah has rated Asante Kotoko midfielder Justice Blay as his best player in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

According to the highly revered sports journalist, Inter Allies forward Victorien Adebayor has been splendid this season but he will choose Justice Blay ahead of the Nigerien.

In an interview, Kwabena Yeboah indicated that, he started following Justice Blay during Kotoko game against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium and the midfielder was a delight to watch.

“Adebayor has been brilliant but Justice Blay of Kotoko has been my player of the season so far, he is absolutely brilliant”, Kwabena Yeboah told Joy FM.
“When the fans started singing his praises I didn’t understand until I started taking a very close look at him, and that game against Hearts, he was absolutely brilliant”, he added.
[ads1]Justice Blay joined Kotoko on a season-long loan deal from fellow premiership side Medeama Sporting Club and has been splendid.

He has currently scored two goals in nine matches this season for Asante Kotoko with three man-of-the-match awards, and was among the final three players for the Ghana Premier League player of the month of January but lost the accolade to Yahaya Mohammed of Aduana Stars.
