Kwadwo Asamoah limped out of training on Wednesday morning at Youth Sports Academy ground in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia according to reports by Ethiopian journalist Taddele Gebru.
Coach Kwesi Appiah, however downplayed the seriousness of he injury of the Inter Milan left back – added Asamoah will require some treatment.
“He had a small injury. Just that I don’t want to put a problem for him to make it worse. It is important we treat it and then he trains slowly.” Kwesi Appiah told freelance Ethiopian journalist Omna Taddele Gebru.
Asamoah was forced out of Black Stars games due to niggling some injuries which persisted for over three years, forcing him to take the international break.

The Black Stars are preparing to play the Harambee Stars of Kenya come Saturday, September 8 in a 2019 Total African Cup of Nations qualifier.
