The radio transfer in the Western Region is getting intensed every single day as journalists keep moving from one media house to the other.
Unlike the football transfer window where there is a time frame and footballers are cuffed to stay at a particular club untill the transfer window opens, journalists move to one media house to the other when the need arise.
Most at times, money isn’t the reason but a bigger platform with much convenience to transcend their messages is also another of the reasons why journalists move from one media firm to the other.[ads2]
For the past few weeks in the Western Region, it is either a journalist resigning to pursue education or different career or getting a new station to work with.
Few days ago, Kyzz FM were dealt a big blow as their head of sports Solomon Amankwah otherwise known as ‘Superman’ resigned without stipulating the reasons for his impromptu action.
Like the saying goes, “Someone’s poison is another man’s meat”, the resignation of Solomon Amankwah from Kyzz FM comes with the appointment of experienced sportscaster Emmanuel Kwesi Koomson as his replacement.[ads3]
The highly-respected sports presenter has joined Kyzz FM after months of leaving the airwaves.
He has been unattached for sometime after leaving Unique Kingdom Communication subsidiary in Takoradi, Kingdom FM.[ads4]
The former Aseda FM head of sports has joined Kyzz FM alongside former Goodnews FM sports presenter Francis Ackon ‘Kikinho’ who has also been unattached for awhile.
Popularly known as ‘KK’, Emmanuel Kwesi Koomson will be teaming up with former colleague at Aseda FM, Kweku Ayetey otherwise known as Agoro Nana and Francis Ackon ‘Kikinho’ at Kyzz FM henceforth.
Congratulations to Emmanuel Kwesi Koomson and Francis Ackon ‘Kikinho’ for joining Kyzz FM…[ads5]
