The final funeral rites of late Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena have commenced today at the Adjiringano Astro Turf in Accra.
The player will be laid in state before a private burial after which a funeral will be held.
Raphael Dwamena passed away following a heart attack while playing for KF Egnatia last year.
In the 23rd minute of the match against FK Partizani, Raphael Dwamena slumped onto the field.He was taken to the Kavaja hospital after passing out on the playing field, but sadly, the medical staff was unable to bring him back to consciousness.
At the age of 28, Raphael Dwamena departed from this life.
He scored 98 goals in 185 games at club level and 2 in 9 games for Ghana.
