The family of the late Michael Asante are on the verge of dragging Kumasi Asante Kotoko to court, kyfilla.com can exclusively report.
Michael Asante, who was nicknamed “Miki Awilo Santos” died at the age of 39 after battling illness in Kumasi. He was part of the Herbert Mensah squad which gave life to Kotoko in the early 2000’s.
However, report gathered by kyfilla.com divulge that, the Kumasi based team are owing the late footballer a whooping sum of 3000 Ghana Cedis and the family are eager to drag the team to court.
The former Asante Kotoko midfield dynamo, became popular during his stint at Great Olympics which gained him a national team call up.
