FC Samartex 1996 Goalkeeper, Lawrence Ansah believes togetherness played a huge role in their survival in the just ended BetPawa Premier League.
Lawrence Ansah who was the first choice goalkeeper for the Samraboi-based side played 21 matches with 12 clean sheets conceding only 13 times.
In an exclusive interview with Kyfilla.com, the shotstopper disclose that “It wasn’t magic but we all came together as one both players and technical team that helped us a lot in our relegation survival”.
Samatex F C placed 10th in the 18 team league with 46 points after 34 matches in their debut campaign in the Ghanaian topflight division.

The team put up a stupendous campaign in the previous season to snatch the only slot available in the Division One League Zone 2 and qualified to the topflight league.

Since its inception Samartex 1996 has competed at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, a newly renovated 3,500 capacity edifice which has a bar lounge, vvip, vip and popular stance.
