Legon Cities has successfully taken all registered players through Corona Virus test.
The Ghana Premier League side on Thursday, June 25, announced that all players belonging to the club have gone through a test to determine their status regarding the global pandemic.

Legon Cities is the first Ghana Premier League club to embark on the coronavirus status test for its players.
Speaking to Atinka FM, Fred Agbenyo, one of the shareholders of the club confirmed various reports that their players have successfully gone through the test.
He again added that government of Ghana should support other clubs to go through the process so football can return successfully.

According to Fred Agbenyo, each player’s test cost $80.00(¢45.00).
“We have conducted a covid-19 test for all our players and staff and by the grace of God it all came negative” – Legon Cities Shareholder Fred Agbenyo told Atinka FM
“How much is $80? If we have done it, then gov’t should support other clubs to test their players too” – He added
Ghana Football Association suspended the 2019/2020 season on March 15, 2020.
