Leicester City have secured their place in the Premier League and is set to complete its first signing of the summer.
Following their return to the top flight, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is set to complete a permanent move to Leicester City.
The Ghana international, who joined Leicester last summer, had a loan agreement including an obligation to pay 17 million euro in the event of promotion.
The highly talented winger is now expected to be sold to Leicester City by Sporting CP for 17 million euros.
This season, Issahaku has been Leicester City’s star performer and boasted an impressive record of seven goals and 13 assists across all competitions.
In the final third, Fatawu has showed his efficiency, using his speed, flair, and goalscoring ability. It will be closely followed to see if he can maintain his impact at the highest level when he arrives in the Premier League.
His former club Steadfast FC will earn €7.9m once Issahaku is signed on a permanent deal.
