Leicester City have finally had their second offer of £8 million accepted by Crystal Palace for the services of Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew.
The 32-year-old, who joined Crystal Palace in 2018, has been an integral part of the team. In 37 appearances in all competitions for Palace last season, he scored four goals and gave eight assists.
In 211 games since joining the team, the Ghanaian forward has totalled 23 goals and 22 assists for Crystal Palace.
Jordan’s contract at Crystal Palace expires in a year, and manager Steeve Cooper who managed Jordan at Swansea City is hoping for a reunion since he thinks the Ghanaian’s services will be highly negotiable for him coming into the new season.
The Foxes made an initial offer of £4 million for the Black Stars forward’s services, but it was later turned down.
Jordan Ayew is now going through his medicals to become a new Leicester City player on a two-year contract with an option to extend.
